About Ugesic 20 mg Tablet:

Ugesic 20 mg Tablet is a Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) indicated for symptomatic relief of pain in osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

Each uncoated Ugesic 20 mg Tablet contains Piroxicam 20 mg.

Piroxicam belongs to a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory class of drug. It works by blocking COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, thereby reducing the production of prostaglandin, the compound responsible for causing pain and inflammation in the body.

Use of Ugesic 20 mg Tablet:

Ugesic 20 mg Tablet is prescribed for relieving pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis.

Usage Direction of Ugesic 20 mg Tablet:

• Ugesic 20 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Keep the Ugesic 20 mg Tablet under the tongue for gradual dispersion.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ugesic 20 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Ugesic 20 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
