About Trend XR 750 mg Tablet:

Trend XR 750 mg tablet is used as monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy.

Each film coated prolonged release Trend XR 750 mg tablet contains Divalproex sodium equivalent to Valproic acid 750 mg and Excipients q.s.

Divalproex sodium is a generic term used to describe valproic acid, its salts, and derivatives. Divalproex sodium is a carboxylic acid anticonvulsant. It has been suggested that its antiepileptic activity is related to increased brain levels of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

Use of Trend XR 750 mg Tablet:

Trend XR 750 mg tablet is prescribed to treat following conditions:

• As a monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy. It helps to prevent and control various types of seizures (complex partial seizures, simple and complex absence seizures, multiple seizure types that include absence seizures).
• Prophylaxis of migraine.
• Acute treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, with or without psychotic features.

Usage direction of Trend XR 750 mg Tablet:

• Trend XR 750 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Trend XR 750 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
