About Tetan 40 mg Tablet:

Each uncoated Tetan 40 mg tablet contains Telmisartan 40mg and Excipients q.s.

Use of Tetan 40 mg Tablet:

Tetan 40 mg tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular events, primarily strokes & myocardial infarctions.

Usage direction of Tetan 40 mg Tablet:

• Tetan 40 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Tetan 40 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Tetan 40 mg Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation. When pregnancy is detected, Telmisartan should be discontinued as soon as possible, as it can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus when used during second and third trimesters of pregnancy.
• Tetan 40 mg tablet is moisture sensitive tablets, so do not remove from blisters until immediately before administration.
• Store protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC.
• Keep out of reach of children.
