About Telma 40 mg Tablet:

Each uncoated Telma 40 mg tablet contain Telmisartan 40mg and Excipients q.s.

Use of Telma 40 mg Tablet:

Telma 40 mg tablet is indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular events, primarily strokes & myocardial infarctions.

Usage direction of Telma 40 mg Tablet:

• Telma 40 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Telma 40 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without physician's advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Telma 40 mg Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation. When pregnancy is detected, Telmisartan should be discontinued as soon as possible as it can cause injury and even death to the developing fetus, when used during second and third trimester of pregnancy.
• Telma 40 mg tablet is a moisture sensitive tablet, so do not remove from strip until immediately before administration.
• Store in a cool and dry place.
• Keep out of reach of children.
