About Telecet Suspension:

Telecet Suspension is a combination medicine, indicated for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis in children.

Each 5 ml of Telecet Suspension contains Levocetirizine Dihydrochloride 2.5 mg and Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Anhydrous Montelukast 4.0 mg.

Montelukast is a selective leukotriene receptor antagonist. Leukotriene type-1 receptor is located on the respiratory airway and on pro-inflammatory cells. It has been correlated with the pathophysiology of asthma and allergic rhinitis. By inhibiting the leukotriene type-1 receptor, Montelukast helps to reduce inflammation in the airways and relieve allergic symptoms.

Levocetirizine is an antiallergic medication that selectively inhibits histamine H1 receptors. This action prevents the negative symptoms associated with histamine release and provides relief from allergic reactions.

Uses of Telecet Suspension:

Telecet Suspension is a combination of Levocetirizine and Montelukast, which is prescribed to relieve symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial) in children.

Usage Direction of Telecet Suspension:

• Telecet Suspension is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Telecet Suspension is for paediatric use only.
• Shake well before use.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Telecet Suspension:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Telecet Suspension, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this suspension with any other medicines or supplements.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Telecet Suspension:

Store protected from light & moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
