About Tachyra 100 mg Tablet:

Tachyra 100 mg tablet is an anti-arrhythmic medication, used to treat various types of arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat).

Each uncoated Tachyra 100 mg tablet contains Amiodarone Hydrochloride 100 mg.

Amiodarone is considered a class III antiarrhythmic drug. It blocks potassium currents that cause repolarization of the heart muscle during the third phase of the cardiac action potential. As a result, amiodarone increases the duration of the action potential as well as the effective refractory period for cardiac cells (myocytes). Therefore, cardiac muscle cell excitability is reduced, preventing and treating abnormal heart rhythms.
Amiodarone also interferes with the functioning of beta-adrenergic receptors, sodium channels, and calcium channels.

Uses of Tachyra 100 mg Tablet:

Tachyra 100 mg tablet is prescribed only for the treatment of the following documented, life-threatening recurrent ventricular arrhythmias when these have not responded to documented adequate doses of other available antiarrhythmics or when alternative agents could not be tolerated.

• Tachyarrhythmias associated with Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome.
•  Atrial flutter and fibrillation when other drugs cannot be used.
• All types of tachyarrhythmias of paroxysmal nature including supraventricular, nodal and ventricular tachycardias, recurrent ventricular fibrillation: when other drugs cannot be used.

Usage direction of Tachyra 100 mg Tablet:

• Tachyra 100 mg tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Tachyra 100 mg tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Tachyra 100 mg Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Tachyra 100 mg tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Tachyra 100 mg tablet with any other medication.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Tachyra 100 mg Tablet:

Store below 25°C. Protect from light.
