About Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet: 

Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet is an anti-epileptic medication, which is indicated for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Each extended-release film-coated Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet contains Oxcarbazepine 300 mg.

Oxcarbazepine belongs to a class of anti-epileptic drugs. It works by blocking the voltage-sensitive sodium channels, stabilizing hyper excited neuronal membranes, inhibiting repetitive neuronal firing, and diminishing the propagation of synaptic impulses, thus preventing the spread of the seizure.

Use of Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet:

Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Usage Direction of Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet:

• Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Neurologist.
• Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the Neurologist’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet, inform the Neurologist immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the Neurologist immediately.
• The Neurologist should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Neurologist during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Selzic OD 300 mg Tablet:

• Store between 10°C to 25°C, at dry and dark place.
