About Rozudoc 10 mg Tablet:

Rozudoc 10 mg tablet is a dyslipidemic agent used to treat several types of dyslipidemias.

Each film coated Rozudoc 10 mg tablet contains Rosuvastatin calcium equivalent to Rosuvastatin 10 mg and Excipients q.s.

Rosuvastatin selectively and competitively inhibits 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. It increases the number of hepatic LDL receptors on the cell surface, thereby enhancing the uptake and catabolism of LDL. It also decreases apolipoprotein B, triglyceride and increases HDL concentrations.

Use of Rozudoc 10 mg Tablet:

Rozudoc 10 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of several types of dyslipidemias, including primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia in patients with failed dietary modifications.

Usage direction of Rozudoc 10 mg Tablet:

• Rozudoc 10 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Rozudoc 10 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Rozudoc 10 mg Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• Patients should notify to their physician immediately if they have following symptoms: Liver problems, unusual fatigue or weakness, loss of appetite, upper belly pain, dark coloured urine, yellowing of skin or eyes, memory loss and confusion and increase of blood sugar levels.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Rozudoc 10 mg Tablet:

Store below 30ºC, protect from light and moisture.
