About Rozat 10 mg Tablet:

Rozat 10 mg Tablet is a dyslipidemic agent indicated for the treatment of several types of dyslipidemias.

Each film-coated Rozat 10 mg Tablet contains Rosuvastatin Calcium Equivalent to Rosuvastatin 10 mg.

Rosuvastatin selectively and competitively inhibits 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase, which is required by the body to make cholesterol. This inhibition decreases the level of bad cholesterol and triglyceride in the body.

Use of Rozat 10 mg Tablet:

Rozat 10 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of several types of dyslipidemias, including primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia in patients with failed dietary modifications.

It can also be used to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular events, primarily strokes & myocardial infarctions.

Usage Direction of Rozat 10 mg Tablet:

• Rozat 10 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the doctor.
• Rozat 10 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the doctor’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Rozat 10 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Rozat 10 mg Tablet, inform the doctor immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the doctor immediately.
• The Doctor should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Statin Warning: Patients should notify to their healthcare professional immediately if they have following symptoms- Liver problems, unusual fatigue or weakness, loss of appetite, upper belly pain, dark coloured urine, yellowing of skin or eyes, memory loss and confusion and increase in blood sugar levels.
• Consult with the doctor during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
