About Rovastat 10 mg Tablet:

Rovastat 10 mg Tablet is a dyslipidemic agent indicated for the treatment of several types of dyslipidemias.

Each film-coated Rovastat 10 mg Tablet contains Rosuvastatin Calcium Equivalent to Rosuvastatin 10 mg.

Rosuvastatin selectively and competitively inhibits 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase, which is required by the body to make cholesterol. This inhibition decreases the level of bad cholesterol and triglyceride in the body.

Use of Rovastat 10 mg Tablet:

Rovastat 10 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of several types of dyslipidemias, including primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypercholesterolemia in patients with failed dietary modifications.

It can also be used to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular events, primarily strokes & myocardial infarctions.

Usage Direction of Rovastat 10 mg Tablet:

  • Rovastat 10 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
  • Rovastat 10 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Rovastat 10 mg Tablet:

  • If hypersensitive or allergic to Rovastat 10 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
  • If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
  • The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
  • Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Rovastat 10 mg Tablet:

  • Store protected from light & moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
