About Recita 5 mg Tablet:

Recita 5 mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used in the treatment of depression and other mental health conditions.

Each film-coated Recita 5 mg Tablet contains Escitalopram Oxalate equivalent to Escitalopram 5 mg.

Escitalopram is the S-enantiomer of the racemic derivative citalopram with an antidepressant, anti-obsessive-compulsive and antibulimic properties. It selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin thereby enhancing the actions of serotonin in the central nervous system.

Use of Recita 5 mg Tablet:

Recita 5 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.

Usage Direction of Recita 5 mg Tablet:

• Recita 5 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the psychiatrist.
• Recita 5 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the psychiatrist’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Recita 5 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Recita 5 mg Tablet, inform the psychiatrist immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the psychiatrist immediately.
• The psychiatrist should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the psychiatrist during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
