About Puril 100 mg Tablet:

Puril 100 mg tablet is prescribed to treat or prevent gout.

Each uncoated Puril 100 mg tablet contains Allopurinol 100 mg.

Allopurinol inhibits xanthine oxidase, the enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of hypoxanthine to xanthine then to uric acid. It acts on purine catabolism, reducing the production of uric acid without disrupting the biosynthesis of vital purines.

Use of Puril 100 mg Tablet:

Puril 100 mg tablet is a xanthine oxidase enzyme inhibitor that is prescribed for the management of:

• Excessive uric acid level in the blood
• Signs and symptoms of primary or secondary gout
• Recurrent calcium oxalate calculi

Puril 100 mg tablet is also prescribed in cancer therapy-induced hyperuricemia.

Usage direction of Puril 100 mg Tablet:

• Puril 100 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Puril 100 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Storage condition of Puril 100 mg Tablet:
