About Polyclav Kid Tablet:

Polyclav Kid Tablet is a combination of two antibacterial medicines, indicated for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections in children.

Each uncoated dispersible Polyclav Kid Tablet contains Amoxycillin Trihydrate equivalent to Amoxycillin 200 mg and Potassium Clavulanate Diluted equivalent to Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg.

Amoxycillin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Clavulanic acid belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It acts by inactivating some beta-lactamase enzymes that are produced by bacteria, thereby, preventing bacteria from destroying Amoxycillin.

Uses of Polyclav Kid Tablet:

Polyclav Kid Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various susceptible bacterial infections including ear, nose, or throat infections; urinary tract infections, skin & soft tissue infections, intra-abdominal infections, and sinusitis (sinus infection), upper & lower respiratory tract infections, and bone & joint infections in children.

Usage Direction of Polyclav Kid Tablet:

• Polyclav Kid Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Disperse the Polyclav Kid Tablet in a tablespoonful (15ml) of boiled & cooled water before administration.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Polyclav Kid Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Polyclav Kid Tablet, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Keep the medicine out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Polyclav Kid Tablet:

Store in a cool, dry place. Protect from light. Do not refrigerate.
