About Omnacortil 5 mg Tablet:

Each uncoated dispersible Omnacortil 5 mg tablet contains Prednisolone 5 mg.

Prednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulation properties. It works by binding and activating specific nuclear receptors, resulting in an altered gene expression and inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine production.

Use of Omnacortil 5 mg Tablet:

Omnacortil 5 mg tablet belongs to a group of medicines called steroid, which is used for the treatment of various types of disease conditions such as inflammatory or autoimmune conditions, certain allergic conditions, neoplastic disorders, and other steroid-responsive disorders.

Usage direction of Omnacortil 5 mg Tablet:

• Omnacortil 5 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Disperse the tablet in a teaspoonful (5 ml) of boiled & cooled water before administration or can take directly with water.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

• Hypersensitive or allergic to Prednisolone or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• Inform & consult with physician during taking with other medications.
• Consumption of alcohol is not advisable.
