About Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet:

Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet is an anti-epileptic medication, which is indicated for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Each bilayered uncoated sustained release Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet contains Oxcarbazepine 900 mg.

Oxcarbazepine belongs to a class of anti-epileptic drugs. It works by blocking the voltage-sensitive sodium channels, stabilizing hyperexcited neuronal membranes, inhibiting repetitive neuronal firing, and diminishing the propagation of synaptic impulses, thus preventing the spread of the seizure.

Use of Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet:

Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of partial seizures with or without secondarily generalized tonic-clonic seizures.

Usage Direction of Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet:

• Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the Physician.
• Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet is swallowed whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician's advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Oleptal OD 900 mg Tablet:

• Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protected from light & moisture.
