About Novorapid Penfill 100 IU Injection Cartridge :

Novorapid Penfill contains water-clear, colourless, aqueous solution of insulin aspart. Each ml solution contains 100 IU (3.5 mg) of Insulin aspart (r-DNA origin), Phenol 1.5 mg and Metacresol 1.72 mg (as preservatives) and Excipients q.s.

Use of Novorapid Penfill 100 IU Injection Cartridge :

Novorapid Penfill is prescribed in the treatment of Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Novorapid Penfill 100 IU Injection Cartridge :

• Use Novorapid Penfill exactly as your healthcare provider tells you. Your healthcare provider will tell you the right dose and duration of use as per patient's condition. Never change or skip the dose.
• Before using Novorapid Penfill know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction pack inside.
• Administer Novorapid Penfill subcutaneously into the abdominal area, thigh, or deltoid, and rotate injection sites.
• Check the insulin to make sure it is clear and colorless. Do not use Novorapid Penfill if it is coloured or cloudy, or if you see particles in the solution.

Precaution & Related information of Novorapid Penfill 100 IU Injection Cartridge :

• Never share a Novorapid Penfill , syringe, or needle between patients.
• Please take precaution during the use of Novorapid Penfill in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use Novorapid Penfill after the expiration date stamped on the label or 28 days after you first use it.
• Do not use the exact same spot for each injection. Do not inject where the skin has pits, is thickened, or has lumps.
• If you are taking any other medication & any other supplement please inform your healthcare provider.
• If you find any other complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• Pregnancy & lactation :  Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
• Storage : Store between 2°C to 8°C in a refrigerator. Do not freeze. Protect from light. During use Novorapid Penfill may be kept at a room temperature below 30°C for up to 4 weeks.
