About Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet: 

Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet contains progesterone, which is a natural female sex hormone, essential for the regulation of ovulation and menstruation. Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet is used for the treatment of menstrual and pregnancy-related issues by adjusting the hormonal balance within the body.

Each film-coated sustained-release Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet contains Progesterone 200 mg.

Progesterone is the main hormone secreted by the corpus luteum and the placenta. It works by inducing secretory changes in the endometrium, promoting mammary gland development, relaxing the uterus, blocking follicular maturation and ovulation, maintaining pregnancy, inducing adequate endometrial maturity, thus promoting embryo implantation.

Use of Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet:

Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet is prescribed for the following:

• Regulation of ovulation and menstruation
• Treatment of amenorrhea (absence of a menstrual period in a woman of reproductive age), premenstrual syndrome, recurrent miscarriage due to progesterone deficiency
• Control of abnormal uterine bleeding

Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet can also be used as a part of hormonal replacement therapy for the prevention of endometrial hyperplasia (thickening of the lining of the uterus).

Usage Direction of Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet:

• Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not break, chew or crush the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Nidagen SR 200 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
