About Nextane Ophthalmic Solution:

Nextane Ophthalmic Solution is prescribed to treat symptoms associated with dry eyes.

Each ml of Nextane Ophthalmic Solution contains Sodium Hyaluronate 0.1% w/v and sterile aqueous buffered vehicle q.s.

Sodium hyaluronate is a polysaccharide, which functions as a tissue lubricant. It moisturizes the surface of the eyes to treat dry eyes symptoms by improving the stabilization of tear film, replenishing deficiencies of hyaluronic acid, reducing friction, and preventing binding of foreign substances to the ocular tissue. It is widely used in ophthalmic surgery due to its moisturizing, viscoelastic, and protective properties.

Use of Nextane Ophthalmic Solution:

Nextane Ophthalmic Solution is prescribed as a lubricant to treat the symptoms associated with dry eyes. It relieves the discomfort and burning sensation by effectively moisturizing the eye.

Usage direction of Nextane Ophthalmic Solution:

• Nextane Ophthalmic Solution is intended for topical ophthalmic use only.
• As per the patient’s conditions, the physician/Ophthalmologist will advise the proper dose and the duration of the application.
• Before applying this eye drop, wash hands first.
• It is advised to check the label or package insert leaflet before apply.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not apply more than the prescribed quantity.
• Replace the cap after every use.

Precaution & Related information of Nextane Ophthalmic Solution:

• Nextane Ophthalmic Solution is for external use only, not for injection.
• If allergic to Nextane Ophthalmic Solution, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• If irritation persists or increases, discontinue the use and consult with the physician.
• Do not touch the nozzle tip to any surface since this may contaminate the solution.
• Preserve closed vial in a cartoon till in use.
• Use the solution within one month after opening the container.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Nextane Ophthalmic Solution:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protected from light.
