About Liofen 25 mg Tablet:

Liofen 25 mg tablet is used for the treatment of muscle stiffness.

Each uncoated Liofen 25 mg tablet contains Baclofen 25 mg.

Baclofen, a structural analogue of neurotransmitter GABA, is a centrally acting skeletal muscle relaxant. It inhibits the transmission of both monosynaptic and polysynaptic reflexes, possibly by stimulating the GABA-B-receptors or by hyperpolarisation of the primary afferent fibre terminals resulting in muscle spasticity relief.

Uses of Liofen 25 mg Tablet:

Liofen 25 mg tablet is a muscle relaxant and an antispasmodic medication. It is prescribed to diminish the signs and symptoms of muscle spasticity resulting from various conditions such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, cerebral palsy, or other motor neuron diseases, etc.

Usage direction of Liofen 25 mg Tablet:

• Liofen 25 mg tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Liofen 25 mg tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Liofen 25 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Liofen 25 mg tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Liofen 25 mg tablet with any other medication.
  
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
