About Lasma AB Tablet:

Each uncoated bilayered Lasma AB Tablet contains Acebrophylline 200 mg (as sustained release form), Montelukast Sodium equivalent to Montelukast 10 mg and Excipients q.s.

Montelukast belongs to a class of medications called leukotriene receptor antagonists (LTRAs). Montelukast is used to prevent and treat symptoms of asthma (such as wheezing and shortness of breath) and to relieve allergic symptoms, such as a runny nose, nasal congestion, and sneezing. It works by blocking the action of substances in the body that cause the symptoms of asthma and allergic rhinitis.

Acebrophylline has both muco-regulating and bronchodilating properties. Acebrophylline is used to treat bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (COPD). It works by relaxing the muscles of the airways and thins and loosens mucus, making it easier to breathe.

Use of Lasma AB Tablet:

Lasma AB Tablet prescribed in following condition:

•Asthma

•Bronchitis

•Seasonal allergic rhinitis

•Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Usage direction of Lasma AB Tablet:

Lasma AB Tablet is intended for oral use only.

Lasma AB Tablet to be swallowed as whole and not to be chewed, cut, or crushed.

Precaution should be taken & consult with the physician during following conditions:

Hypersensitivity to this medicine or any of its components.

If any acute condition (cardiac or respiratory failure, severe chest pain, hypoxia, shock etc) occur during taking this medicine.

Inform your physician if you are going through any other treatment.

Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
