About Ketoalfa Tablet :

Each film coated Ketoalfa tablet contains Calcium-3-methyl-2-oxovalerate 67 mg (Alpha-ketoanalogue to isoleucine, Calcium salt), Calcium-4-methyl-2-oxovalerate 101 mg (Alpha-ketoanalogue to leucine, Calcium salt), Calcium-2-oxo-3-phenylpropionate 68 mg (Alpha-ketoanalogue to phenylalanine, Calcium salt), Calcium-3-methyl-2-oxobutyrate 86 mg (Alpha-ketoanalogue to valine, Calcium salt), Calcium-DL-2-hydroxy-4-(methylthio) butyrate 59 mg (Alpha-hydroxyanalogue to methionine, Calcium Salt), L-Lysine Acetate 105 mg, L-Threonine 53 mg, L-Tryptophan  23 mg, L-Histidine 38 mg, L-Tyrosine 30 mg, Total nitrogen content per tablet 36 mg, Calcium content per tablet 1.25 mmol=0.05 g.

Use of Ketoalfa Tablet :

Ketoalfa tablet is used for uremic patients, prescribed as treatment of chronic kidney disease (Stage I, II & III) patients on conservative management therapy.

Usage direction of Ketoalfa Tablet :

• Ketoalfa tablet should be taken orally.
• Ketoalfa tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ketoalfa Tablet :

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store in a dry place at a temperature not exceeding 30ºC and protect from light.
