Medicine Information

About Ibugesic Plus Suspension:

Ibugesic Plus Suspension is a combination medication, indicated to treat minor aches and pains and the reduction of fever.

Each 5 ml of Ibugesic Plus Suspension contains Ibuprofen 100 mg and Paracetamol 162.5 mg.

Ibuprofen belongs to a class of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines and has analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antipyretic properties. It acts by inhibiting the activity of cyclooxygenase, which is an enzyme involved in the synthesis of prostaglandin, a chemical responsible for causing pain, inflammation, and fever.

Paracetamol exerts analgesic action by blocking the pain impulse generation and also produces antipyretic activity by inhibiting the heat-regulating center in the brain.
