About Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge:

Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge Biphasic Isophane Insulin injection  Each ml Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge contains 100 IU Insulin Human (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 1.6 mg m-cresol Ph. Eur. as preservative, 16 mg Glycerol  as tonicity modifier, 0.65 mg Phenol as preservative, Protamine sulphate for complexing with insulin to prolong its action q.s. to obtain 0.189 mg of Protamine base, 3.78 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate Ph. Eur. As buffer, Zinc Oxide  q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid Solution 10% q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide Solution 10% q.s. for pH adjustment and Water for Injection  q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge:

Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge is prescribed for treatment of Diabetes Mellitus. Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge may be used for Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes.

Usage direction of Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge:

• Doctor will advise the right dose and duration of administration as per the patient’s condition.
• Before using Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge know the process of adjusting pen with respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow usage instruction pack inside.
• Administer subcutaneously into the thigh, upper arm, or abdomen and rotate the injection sites.
• Do not stop, skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.
• Do not use Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge if it contains any floating particles, discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.

Precaution & Related information of Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge:

• If you find any complication during taking this medication inform your physician immediately.
• If you are taking any medications and any other supplements please inform your physician.
• Please take precaution during the use of Huminsulin 30/70 100 IU Injection Cartridge in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date printed on the pack, or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy or lactation.
• Storage: For unused cartridge, keep in a refrigerator between 2°C and 8°C. Must not be allowed to freeze. After insertion of the cartage in the pen, the solution should be used in 28 days. When in use the cartridges should be stored below 30°C and do not refrigerate.
• Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
