About Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen is a Insulin Lispro Biphasic Injection (50% Insulin Lispro and 50% Insulin Lispro Protamine Suspension). Each ml of Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen contains 100 IU (equivalent to 3.5 mg) Lispro Injection (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 3.78 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate as buffering agent, 16 mg Glycerol as tonicity modifier, 1 mg Liquified Phenol as preservative/stabilizer, 2.20 mg Metacresol as preservative/stabilizer, 0.19 mg Protamine Sulphate as Insulin Lispro complexing agent, Zinc oxide q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid (10%) q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide (10%) for pH adjustment and Water for injection q.s. to 1 ml.

Use of Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen is prescribed for the treatment of Type 1 & Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

• Use Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen exactly as prescribed by your physician.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of enclosed leaflet.
• Inject your dose of Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen into a muscle or vein.
• Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen should be clear and colorless. Do not use Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen if it contains particles, is cloudy and discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.
• Do not skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.

Precaution & Related information of Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU Inj 3 ml Pen :

• Do not share your Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
• Please take precaution during the use of Humalog Mix 50 Kwik Pen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• If you are taking any other medications and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
• Storage: Store at 2°C - 8°C (in a refrigerator). Do not freeze. Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight. Once in use cartridges may be used for up to 28 days. Following insertion in a pen, the cartridge and pen should be stored below 30°C and should not be refrigerated.
