About Gemcal Nasal Spray :

Each acutation delivers: Calcitonin (Salmon) IP 200 IU (synthetic origin).

Each ml contains: Calcitonin (Salmon) IP 2200 IU (synthetic origin), Preservatives: Benzalkonium Chloride IP 0.01% w/v, Phenylethyl alchohol IP 0.2% w/v, Aqueous base Q.S.

Use of Gemcal Nasal Spray :

Gemcal nasal spray is used for the treatment of:

• Postmenopausal osteoporosis
• Paget’s disease of bone
• Hypercalcemia

Usage Direction of Gemcal Nasal Spray :

• Gemcal nasal spray should be taken by nasal only..
• Please check the package insert before use.
• Replace the cap tightly closed after every use.
• Do not skip or stop the dose without physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Precautions & Related Information of Gemcal Nasal Spray :

• If allergic to this nasal spray inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Store unopened bottle in refrigerator at a temperature between 2oC to 8oC. Protect from freezing. Once opened the bottle may be stored at room temperature below 25oC in an upright position for upto 4 weeks.
