About Gabapin SR 600 mg Tablet:

Gabapin SR 600 mg tablet is an anticonvulsant medication used for the treatment of epilepsy and neuropathic pain.

Each film coated sustained release Gabapin SR 600 mg tablet contains Gabapentin 600 mg and Excipients q.s.

Gabapentin binds with high affinity to the alpha-2-delta-1 subunit of voltage-gated Ca channels and appears to inhibit the action of alpha2delta subunits, thus decreasing the density of presynaptic voltage-gated calcium channels and subsequent release of excitatory neurotransmitters. This mechanism is likely to relieve neuropathic pain and also responsible for the anti-epileptic action of gabapentin.

Use of Gabapin SR 600 mg Tablet:

Gabapin SR 600 mg tablet is prescribed for the management of partial-onset seizures, peripheral neuropathic pains (long-lasting pain caused by damage to the nerves), and restless leg syndrome.

Usage direction of Gabapin SR 600 mg Tablet:

• Gabapin SR 600 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Gabapin SR 600 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
