About Forcan 50 mg Tablet:

Forcan 50 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of fungal infection. Each uncoated Forcan 50 mg tablet contains Fluconazole 50 mg.

Fluconazole is an antifungal medicine. It belongs to a class of drugs called azole antifungals. Fluconazole is used to treat a variety of fungal and yeast infections. Fluconazole is also used to treat meningitis, serious fungal infections that begin in the lungs and can spread through the body and fungal infections of the eye, skin and nails. It works by stopping the growth of fungus that cause infection.

Uses of Forcan 50 mg Tablet:

Forcan 50 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of different types of fungal and yeast infection, such as:

• Systemic candidiasis

• Mucosal candidiasis

• Cryptococcosis

• Prevention of fungal infection in patients with malignancy

Usage direction of Forcan 50 mg Tablet:

• Forcan 50 mg tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Forcan 50 mg tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not break, chew or crush the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Forcan 50 mg Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Forcan 50 mg tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Forcan 50 mg tablet with any other medication.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
