About Esiflo 100 mcg Transcap:

Esiflo 100 mcg transcap is used to manage asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Each capsule contains Salmeterol Xinafoate equivalent to Salmeterol 50 mcg and Fluticasone Propionate 100 mcg.

Salmeterol is an agonist of beta2-adrenergic receptors (found predominantly in bronchial smooth muscle). Beta-2 adrenoceptor stimulation causes relaxation of bronchial smooth muscle, bronchodilation, and increased airflow.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Use of Esiflo 100 mcg Transcap:

Esiflo 100 mcg transcap is indicated in the regular treatment of asthma, where the use of a combination (long-acting beta2-agonist and inhaled corticosteroid) has been found to be appropriate, and in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Usage direction of Esiflo 100 mcg Transcap:

• Esiflo 100 mcg transcap is intended for inhalation use only.

• Before using Esiflo 100 mcg transcap, know the administration process properly from the enclosed leaflet.

• Esiflo 100 mcg transcap is inhalation through Lupihaler and not to be swallowed.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue without physician’s advice.
