About Escitalent 20 mg Tablet:

Escitalent 20 mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor used in the treatment of depression and other mental health conditions.

Each film-coated Escitalent 20 mg Tablet contains Escitalopram Oxalate equivalent to Escitalopram 20 mg.

Escitalopram is the S-enantiomer of the racemic derivative citalopram with an antidepressant, anti-obsessive-compulsive and antibulimic properties. It selectively inhibits the reuptake of serotonin thereby enhancing the actions of serotonin in the central nervous system.

Use of Escitalent 20 mg Tablet:

Escitalent 20 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of major depressive disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, social anxiety disorder, and panic disorder with or without agoraphobia.

Usage Direction of Escitalent 20 mg Tablet:

• Escitalent 20 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Escitalent 20 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Escitalent 20 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Escitalent 20 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Escitalent 20 mg Tablet:

• Store protected from light and moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
