About Emidoxyn MD Tablet:

Emidoxyn MD Tablet is an antipsychotic class of medication indicated for the treatment of Nausea and vomiting including during a migraine. It can also be used to manage vertigo (dizziness), schizophrenia, acute mania, and anxiety in short term.

Each uncoated mouth dissolving Emidoxyn MD Tablet contains Prochlorperazine Maleate 5 mg.

Prochlorperazine is an antipsychotic class of medication. It influences the activity of certain brain cells by decreasing the effect of dopamine, a natural chemical in the brain. It also depresses the releases of hypothalamic and hypophyseal hormones, thus affecting basal metabolism, body temperature, wakefulness, vasomotor tone, and emesis.

Use of Emidoxyn MD Tablet:

Emidoxyn MD Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called phenothiazine antipsychotics. It is prescribed for the treatment of the following conditions:

• Nausea, vomiting and migraine induced vomiting
• Dizziness due to ear diseases (such as Meniere’s syndrome or labyrinthitis), or due to other causes
• Mental illnesses (such as schizophrenia and mania)
• Anxiety in short term

Usage Direction of Emidoxyn MD Tablet:

• Emidoxyn MD Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• For administration, Emidoxyn MD Tablet is to be kept in the buccal/mouth until dissolves completely.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Emidoxyn MD Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Emidoxyn MD Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage condition of Emidoxyn MD Tablet:

• Store in a cool, dry & dark place.
