About Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen :

Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen is a Pre-Filled Pen of Insulin Lispro Biphasic Injection (50% Insulin Lispro and 50% Insulin Lispro Protamine Suspension). Each ml of Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen contains 100 IU (equivalent to 3.5 mg) Insulin lispro (r-DNA origin) as active ingredient, 3.78 mg Dibasic Sodium Phosphate as buffering agent, 16 mg Glycerol as tonicity modifier, 1 mg Liquified Phenol as preservative/stabilizer, 2.20 mg Metacresol as preservative/stabilizer, 0.19 mg Protamine Sulphate as Insulin Lispro complexing agent, Zinc oxide q.s. as stabilizer, Hydrochloric Acid (10%) q.s. and Sodium Hydroxide (10%) q.s. for pH adjustment and Water for Injection q.s. to 1 ml.

Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen is prescribed for the treatment of Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Usage direction of Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen :

• Use Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen exactly as prescribed by your physician.
• Before using know the process of adjusting pen with the respective cartridge. For proper using direction please follow the using instructions of package insert.
• Inject your dose of Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen under the skin of your stomach area, upper arm, upper leg, or buttocks. Never inject Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen into a muscle or vein.
• Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen should be clear and colorless. Do not use Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen if it contains particles, is cloudy and discolored, or if the or container is cracked or damaged.
• Do not skip or change the dose without physician’s advice.

• Do not share your Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen or syringes with other people, even if the needle has been changed.
• Please take precaution during the use of Eglucent Mix 50 Kwik Pen 100 IU/ml Pen in case of Hypoglycemia, Hypokalemia, Hypersensitivity, Lipoatrophy, Lipohypertrophy etc.
• If you are taking any other medications and any other supplement please inform your physician.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Pregnancy & lactation: Please consult with your physician before use in pregnancy and lactation.
• Storage: Unused Pen - Keep in a refrigerator at a temperature between 2°C - 8°C. Must not be allowed freeze. When in use, pens may be kept at room temperature (below 30°C) for up to 28 days.
