About Dotzide 80 mg Tablet:

Dotzide 80 mg tablet is an anti-diabetic medication used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.

Each Dotzide 80 mg tablet contains Gliclazide 80 mg.

Gliclazide belongs to the sulfonylurea class of insulin secretagogues that increases insulin sensitivity at peripheral target sites by stimulating insulin release from the pancreatic ß-cells. It also reduces insulin uptake & glucose output of the liver.

Use of Dotzide 80 mg Tablet:

Dotzide 80 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of type-2 diabetes mellitus.

Usage direction of Dotzide 80 mg Tablet:

• Dotzide 80 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Dotzide 80 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
