About Dizone Tablet:

Dizone Tablet is indicated as a supportive treatment of alcoholism.

Each uncoated Dizone Tablet contains Disulfiram 250 mg.

When alcohol enters the body, it is converted into acetaldehyde and then into acetic acid. Disulfiram, acting as an alcohol antagonist drug, works by blocking the conversion from acetaldehyde to acetic acid, resulting in an upsurge of acetaldehyde. This upsurge is toxic and causes the individual to become ill. It is important to note that disulfiram does not treat withdrawal from alcohol, nor does it reduce cravings for alcohol. It is designed as a deterrent to drinking.

Dizone Tablet is prescribed as a supportive treatment of alcoholism and prevention of alcohol abuse by producing unpleasant side effects and sensitivity to alcohol. It is designed as a deterrent to drinking.

Usage Direction of Dizone Tablet:

• Dizone Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Dizone Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Dizone Tablet:

• Caution: Disulfiram treatment should be strictly taken under medical supervision only.
• If hypersensitive or allergic to Dizone Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Dizone Tablet:

• Store in a cool, dark and dry place. Protected from direct sunlight.
