About Dilzem CD 120 mg Capsule:

Dilzem CD 120 mg capsule is a calcium channel blocker used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and manage angina (chest pain).

Each hard-gelatin Dilzem CD 120 mg capsule contains Diltiazem Hydrochloride 120 mg (In the form of extended-release pellets).

Diltiazem, a benzothiazepine calcium channel blocker, inhibits the influx of calcium ions during depolarisation of the vascular smooth muscles and myocardium thereby producing relaxation of coronary vascular muscles and coronary vasodilation and increases myocardial oxygen delivery.

Use of Dilzem CD 120 mg Capsule:

Dilzem CD 120 mg capsule is prescribed to patients who suffer from hypertension (high blood pressure) issues or have angina (chest pain).

Patients with various disorders of the heart rhythm may also be prescribed Dilzem CD 120 mg capsule.

Usage direction of Dilzem CD 120 mg Capsule:

• Dilzem CD 120 mg capsule should be taken orally.
• Dilzem CD 120 mg capsule is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the capsule.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
