About Dicorate Solution:

Dicorate Solution is used as monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy.

Each 5 ml of Dicorate Solution contains Divalproex sodium equivalent to Valproic acid 250 mg and Flavoured syrupy base q.s.

Divalproex sodium is a generic term used to describe valproic acid, its salts, and derivatives. Divalproex sodium is a carboxylic acid anticonvulsant. It has been suggested that its antiepileptic activity is related to increased brain levels of ?-aminobutyric acid (GABA).

Use of Dicorate Solution:

Dicorate Solution is prescribed to treat following conditions:

• As a monotherapy and adjunctive therapy in the treatment of epilepsy. It helps to prevent and control various types of seizures (complex partial seizures, simple and complex absence seizures, multiple seizure types that include absence seizures).
• Prophylaxis of migraine.
• Acute treatment of manic episodes associated with bipolar disorder, with or without psychotic features.

Usage direction of Dicorate Solution:

• Dicorate Solution is intended for oral use only.
• Before consuming the solution, the consumption amount should be measured by a measuring cup (which is provided inside the package).
• Please check the package leaflet or label instruction before administration.
• Keep the bottle cap tightly closed.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

• If allergic to this medicine, inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Dicorate Solution:

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. Do not freeze.
