About Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet:

Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet is a dyslipidemic agent used to treat several types of dyslipidemias.

Each film-coated Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet contains Rosuvastatin Calcium equivalent to Rosuvastatin 10 mg.

Rosuvastatin selectively and competitively inhibits 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase, the rate-limiting enzyme in cholesterol synthesis. It increases the number of hepatic LDL receptors on the cell surface, thereby enhancing the uptake and catabolism of LDL. It also decreases apolipoprotein B, triglyceride and increases HDL concentrations.

Uses of Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet:

Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of several types of dyslipidemias, including primary hyperlipidemia, mixed dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, and hypercholesterolemia in patients with failed dietary modifications.

It can also be used to reduce the risk of other associated cardiovascular events, primarily strokes & myocardial infarction.

Usage Direction of Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet:

• Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not break, chew or crush the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the stated recommended daily dosage.

Precaution & Related information of Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet:

• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is hypersensitive to Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet.
• Inform the physician immediately, if the patient is having any other complications.
• The physician should be aware of the concomitant use of Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet with any other medication.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Dhanvas 10 mg Tablet:

Store in a cool, dry & dark place.
