About Cognipil Syrup:

Cognipil syrup is used for the treatment of various cerebral injuries (stroke, dementia). Each 5 ml Cognipil syrup contains Citicoline Sodium 523.5 mg equivalent to Citicoline 500 mg.

Citicoline is a naturally occurring endogenous nucleoside involved in the biosynthesis of lecithin. It increases the synthesis of phosphatidylcholine (main neuronal membrane phospholipid) and promotes acetylcholine production. It also enhances the blood flow and oxygen consumption in the brain.

Use of Cognipil Syrup:

Cognipil syrup is used for the treatment of disturbances of consciousness resulting from head injuries, brain operation and acute stage of cerebral infection in adults only.

Usage direction of Cognipil Syrup:

• Cognipil syrup should be taken orally.

• Cognipil syrup to be taken by measuring with a measuring cup.

• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.

• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

• Keep the cap tightly closed after each use.

Precaution & Related information of Cognipil Syrup:

Precaution should be taken & consult with the physician during following conditions:

• Hypersensitivity to this medicine or any of its components.

• Inform your physician if you are going through any other treatment.

• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.

• Keep medicine out of reach of children. Not for children use.
