About Cognidep 5 mg Tablet:

Cognidep 5 mg tablet is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, used to treat Alzheimer’s disease.

Each uncoated Cognidep 5 mg tablet contains Donepezil Hydrochloride 5 mg and Excipients q.s.

Donepezil reversibly and noncompetitively inhibits centrally-active acetylcholine-esterase that is responsible for the hydrolysis of acetylcholine. This inhibition increases the concentration of acetylcholine, which is involved in memory function.

Use of Cognidep 5 mg Tablet:

Cognidep 5 mg tablet is prescribed to treat dementia in people with mild to moderately severe Alzheimer’s disease.

Usage direction of Cognidep 5 mg Tablet:

• Cognidep 5 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Cognidep 5 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
