About Clopitab Tablet:

Each film coated Clopitab tablet contains Clopidogrel Bisulphate equivalent to Clopidogrel 75 mg.

Clopitab tablet selectively and irreversibly inhibits the binding of adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to its platelet receptor and the subsequent ADP-mediated activation of the glycoprotein (GP) IIb/IIIa complex, thereby inhibiting platelet aggregation.

Use of Clopitab Tablet:

Clopitab tablet contains clopidogrel, which belongs to a group of medicines called antiplatelet medicinal products. Clopitab tablet is prescribed for the prevention of ischemic events, myocardial infarction, stroke, and cardiovascular death in patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS).

Usage Direction of Clopitab Tablet:

• Clopitab tablet should be taken orally.
• Clopitab tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precautions and Related Information of Clopitab Tablet:

• If allergic to this medicine inform the physician immediately.
• If find any other complications inform the physician immediately.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy and lactation.
• Keep medicines out of reach of children.
