About Clomilent 25 mg Tablet:

Clomilent 25 mg tablet is an antidepressant medication used for the treatment of various types of depression.

Each film coated Clomilent 25 mg tablet contains Clomipramine Hydrochloride 25 mg and Excipients q.s.

Clomipramine inhibits the neuronal reuptake of serotonin (5-HT) and norepinephrine released in the presynaptic neuronal membrane. It also has a1-adrenolytic, anticholinergic, antihistaminic, and anti-serotonergic (5-HT-receptor blocking) properties, by which it exhibits its effect in chronic pain, particularly in the neuropathic type.

Use of Clomilent 25 mg Tablet:

Clomilent 25 mg tablet is a tricyclic antidepressant that is used for the treatment of the obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), phobic states, and depression (when sedation is required). It is also used as an adjunct therapy for cataplexy (muscular weakness) associated with narcolepsy (sudden attacks of sleepiness).

Usage direction of Clomilent 25 mg Tablet:

• Clomilent 25 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Clomilent 25 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
