About Ciprobid 500 mg Tablet:

Ciprobid 500 mg tablet is an antibiotic, used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infection. Each film coated Ciprobid 500 mg tablet contains Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride IP equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 500 mg and Excipients q.s.

Ciprofloxacin acts on bacterial topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV.12 Ciprofloxacin's targeting of the alpha subunits of DNA gyrase prevents it from supercoiling the bacterial DNA which prevents DNA replication.

Use of Ciprobid 500 mg Tablet:

Ciprobid 500 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of a wide range of susceptible bacterial infections such as Respiratory tract infections, Urinary tract infections, Skin, and soft tissue infections, Bone and joint infections, Gastrointestinal and intra-abdominal infections, Nosocomial pneumonia, Acute sinusitis, Chronic bacterial prostatitis, Gynaecological Infections, Severe Systemic Infections, Surgical Infections, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, etc.

Usage direction of Ciprobid 500 mg Tablet:

• Ciprobid 500 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Ciprobid 500 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
