About Ciplox Eye/Ear Drops:

Ciplox eye/ear drops is an antibiotic, used for the treatment of susceptible bacterial infection. Each Ciplox eye/ear drops contains Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride IP equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 0.3%w/v, Benzalkonium Chloride IP 0.01%w/v (as preservative) and Aqueous vehicle q.s.

Ciprofloxacin acts on bacterial topoisomerase II (DNA gyrase) and topoisomerase IV.12 Ciprofloxacin's targeting of the alpha subunits of DNA gyrase prevents it from supercoiling the bacterial DNA which prevents DNA replication.

Use of Ciplox Eye/Ear Drops:

Ciplox eye/ear drops is an antibacterial medication, used for the treatment of eye infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria.

Usage direction of Ciplox Eye/Ear Drops:

• Ciplox eye/ear drops is intended for topical use only.
• As per the patient conditions, physician will advise the proper dose and the duration of use.
• Before using the medicine wash your hands first.
• It is advised to check the label prior use.
• Shake well before use.
• Use the solution within one month after opening the vial.
• Replace Nozzle cap immediately after use.
• Do not skip or stop the dose without doctor’s advice.
• Do not use more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Ciplox Eye/Ear Drops:

• Ciplox eye/ear drops is external use only, not for injection.
• Once the nozzle is pierced, do not touch the nozzle tip as this may contaminate the solution.
• If irritation persists or increases discontinue the use and consult the physician.
• If find any other complication inform the physician immediately.
• Consult the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.
