About Cifran CT Tablet:

Cifran CT Tablet is a combination medication, indicated for the treatment of various protozoal and bacterial infections.

Each film-coated tablet contains Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride equivalent to Ciprofloxacin 500 mg, Tinidazole 600 mg.

Ciprofloxacin belongs to a class of antibacterial medicines. It prevents bacterial infections by inhibiting the enzymes (DNA gyrase, topoisomerase IV), which are required for the bacteria to grow and multiply.

Tinidazole belongs to a class of antiprotozoal and antibacterial medicines respectively. It prevents various protozoal and bacterial infections by damaging their DNA.

Use of Cifran CT Tablet:

Cifran CT Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of various protozoal and bacterial infections including respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, genital tract infections, intra-abdominal infections, skin & soft tissue infections, bone & joint infections, infectious diarrhea, acute sinusitis, trichomoniasis, giardiasis, amebiasis, and bacterial vaginosis, etc.  

Usage Direction of Cifran CT Tablet:

• Cifran CT Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Cifran CT Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Cifran CT Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Cifran CT Tablet, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• This drug may cause low blood sugar and mental health-related side effects.
• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Storage condition of Cifran CT Tablet:

Store at room temperature, protected from light and moisture.
