About Caluran CP 50 mg Tablet:

Caluran 50 CP mg tablet is an antiandrogen medication used for the treatment of prostate cancer.

Each film coated Caluran CP 50 mg tablet contains Bicalutamide 50 mg.

Bicalutamide is an androgen receptor inhibitor, which competes with androgen for the binding of androgen receptors, consequently blocking the action of androgens of adrenal and testicular origin, which stimulate the growth of normal and malignant prostatic tissue.

Use of Caluran CP 50 mg Tablet:

Caluran CP 50 mg tablet is prescribed for the treatment of advanced prostatic cancer in combination with luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH) analogue on surgical castration.

Usage direction of Caluran CP 50 mg Tablet:

• Caluran CP 50 mg tablet should be taken orally.
• Caluran CP 50 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Keep container tightly closed. Dispense in original container.
  
• Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
