Budate 200 mcg transhaler is used to relieve symptoms of asthma. Each actuation delivers Budesonide 200 mcg.

Budesonide is a synthetic glucocorticoid with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. Budesonide induces the expression of glucocorticoid-responsive genes that encode anti-inflammatory mediators such as certain anti-inflammatory cytokines and lipocortins. As a result, the synthesis of prostaglandins and leukotrienes is prevented, which are responsible for inflammation.

Budate 200 mcg transhaler belongs to a group of medicines called corticosteroids. Budate 200 mcg transhaler is prescribed as prophylactic therapy in persistent asthma and to reduce exacerbations of COPD. This medicine is not for the relief of acute bronchospasm.

• Shake well before each use.
