About Aziwok 600 mg Tablet:

Each film coated Aziwok 600 mg tablet contains Azithromycin Anhydrous 600 mg and Excipients q.s.

Aziwok 600 mg tablet is a broad-spectrum macrolide antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial infections. It acts by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit of susceptible microorganisms and, thus, interfering with microbial protein synthesis. Azithromycin should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by susceptible bacteria in order to prevent the development of antimicrobial resistance and maintain the efficacy of azithromycin.

Use of Aziwok 600 mg Tablet:

Aziwok 600 mg tablet is a macrolide antibacterial drug, used for the treatment of patients with the following bacterial infections:

  • Upper respiratory tract infections such as sinusitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, etc.
  • Acute otitis media
  • Lower respiratory tract infections such as acute bronchitis and mild to moderately severe community-acquired pneumonia
  • Skin and soft tissue infections
  • Uncomplicated Chlamydia trachomatis urethritis and cervicitis.
  • Uncomplicated gonorrhea, etc.

Usage Direction of Aziwok 600 mg Tablet:

  • Aziwok 600 mg tablet should be taken orally.
  • Aziwok 600 mg tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
  • Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
  • Do not stop or skip the medicine without physician’s advice.
  • Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.
