About Azeflo FT Nasal Spray:

Azeflo FT Nasal Spray is used to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis.

Each Actuation delivrs Azelastine Hydrochloride 140 mcg and Flutisone Furoate 27.5 mg.

Composition: Azelastine Hydrochloride 0.1% w/w, Flutisone Furoate 0.0197% w/w.
Preservative: Benzalkonium Chloride Solution 0.02% w/w (As preservative) and Excipients q.s.

Azelastine is primarily a selective antagonist of histamine H1-receptors, with a lesser affinity for H2-receptors. Azelastine, selectively blocks H1-receptors on effector cells, inhibiting the release of histamine involved in an allergic response. Additionally, it inhibits the accumulation of other inflammatory mediators like leukotriene, platelet activation factor (PAF), serotonin, and eosinophil.

Fluticasone propionate is a synthetic, trifluorinated glucocorticoid with potent anti-inflammatory activity. It exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells and mediators involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Use of Azeflo FT Nasal Spray:

Azeflo FT Nasal Spray is an antihistamine-corticosteroid combination available as a metered spray formulation for intranasal administration.

Azeflo FT Nasal Spray is prescribed for the management of symptoms of allergic rhinitis, once the need for an antihistamine and corticosteroid has been established.

Usage direction of Azeflo FT Nasal Spray:

• Azeflo FT Nasal Spray is intended for nasal use only.
• Shake well before each use.
• As per the patient’s conditions, the physician will advise the proper dose and duration of the medication.
• It is advised to check the label or patients information leaflet before use.
• Do not skip or stop the dose without physician’s advice.
• Do not exceed the recommended dose.
