About Avil 25 mg Tablet:

Avil 25 mg Tablet is an antihistamine medication used to treat various allergic conditions. It is also indicated for the prophylaxis of motion sickness.

Each uncoated Avil 25 mg Tablet contains Pheniramine Maleate 25 mg and Excipients q.s.

Pheniramine is an antihistamine class of drug. It competes with histamine for the histamine H1 receptor, acting as an inverse agonist once bound. The reduction in H1 receptor activity is responsible for reduced edema, itching, and redness thus suppressing the allergic symptoms.

Use of Avil 25 mg Tablet:

Avil 25 mg Tablet is an anti-allergic medication prescribed for the treatment of the following conditions:

• Allergic conditions including hay fever, drug rashes, angioneurotic oedema, serum sickness, allergic conjunctivitis, food allergy, etc.
• Conditions of the respiratory tract that are accompanied by increased secretion, including Vasomotor rhinitis and acute rhinitis.
• All itching skin conditions, including neurodermatitis, eczema of any origin, lichen planus, acute and chronic urticaria, pruritis of the anus or genitals, pruritus in icterus and diabetes, radiation Sickness, etc.
• Symptoms of motion sickness.
• Nausea, vomiting and vertigo due to Menière’s disease and other labyrinthine disturbances.

Usage Direction of Avil 25 mg Tablet:

• Avil 25 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose & direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Avil 25 mg Tablet is taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician's advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Avil 25 mg Tablet:

• It is dangerous to take this preparation except under medical supervision.
• If hypersensitive or allergic to Avil 25 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.  
• If found any other complications, inform the physician immediately.
• Please consult with the physician in case symptoms persist.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
