About Avamys Nasal Spray:

Avamys nasal spray is a steroid, used to relieve the symptoms of allergic and non-allergic rhinitis. Avamys nasal spray contains Fluticasone Furoate 0.05% w/w, Preservatives: Benzalkonium Chloride Solution equivalent to Benzalkonium Chloride 0.015% w/w and Disodium Edetate 0.015% w/w. Each metered dose delivers 27.5 mcg of Fluticasone Furoate.

Fluticasone has potent anti-inflammatory actions. It is believed that fluticasone exerts its beneficial effects by inhibiting several types of cells (e.g., mast cells, eosinophils, neutrophils, macrophages, and lymphocytes) and mediators (e.g., histamine, eicosanoids, leukotrienes, and cytokines) involved in allergic, immune, and inflammatory responses.

Use of Avamys Nasal Spray:

Avamys nasal spray is prescribed for the management of the nasal symptoms associated with seasonal or perennial allergic and non-allergic rhinitis in adults, adolescents, and pediatric patients, 4 years of age and older.

Usage direction of Avamys Nasal Spray:

• Avamys nasal spray meant for intra nasal use only.

• Carefully read the instructions for preparation, use & cleaning of the Spray in the leaflet before use.

• Shake well before use.

• Do not exceed the recommended dose.

• Do not discontinue use without physicians’ advice.

• Inform your physician if you are going through any other treatment.

• Consult with the physician during pregnancy & lactation.

Store below 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze.
