About Avacard 5 mg Tablet:

Avacard 5 mg Tablet is an anti-hypertensive class of medications indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain caused by blockages in the arteries leading to the heart).
 
Each uncoated Avacard 5 mg Tablet contains Amlodipine Besilate equivalent to Amlodipine 5 mg.
 
Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, it lowers blood pressure, therefore, improving the blood flow to the heart.

Use of Avacard 5 mg Tablet:
 
Avacard 5 mg Tablet is prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain caused by blockages in the arteries leading to the heart).

It also helps to prevent the risk of other cardiovascular events.

Usage Direction of Avacard 5 mg Tablet:

• Avacard 5 mg Tablet is intended for oral use only, in a dose and direction as prescribed by the physician.
• Avacard 5 mg Tablet is to be taken whole with the help of water.
• Do not crush, chew or break the tablet.
• Do not skip or stop the medicine without the physician’s advice.
• Do not consume more than the prescribed quantity.

Precaution & Related information of Avacard 5 mg Tablet:

• If hypersensitive or allergic to Avacard 5 mg Tablet, inform the physician immediately.
• If found any other complications, inform the Physician immediately.
• The Physician should be well informed when concomitant consumption of this tablet with any other medicines or supplements.
• Consult with the Physician during pregnancy & lactation.
• Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
